Backwater reptiles

Has anyone had any experience with backwaterreptiles.com? They say the have giant pyxies. I am considering ordering from them. Just want to get some input from the forum first. Thanks in advance.

From what I've read here on a forum, they have really bad reputation.

im sure its hit and miss, i ordered some geckos and an albino cranwelli, they all showed up just fine, and pricing was really good, but I have to add that none of them are still on this plane, and only lasted about a week before they started going south. It could have been me or a bad shipment, but it was a learning experience. The geckos were leaf tailed and I could have messed up the enclosure but, a week is pretty quick for something to pass, I dont like giving bad reviews but I personally will not buy from them again.

lllreptiles had giant pixies and dwarf, I ordered a bunch from them and even got some frogs from them the otherday, every one of them are in amazing shape. looks like they dont have giants right now, but underground reptiles has some and they have been good to me aswell.

underground reptiles has great service and prices that's where i got my Colombian red tailed boa he is very healthy and a little over 3ft, hes still a baby

I've ordered from Backwater reptiles. Good customer service, and the animals I got seem to be healthy and great eaters.

I got my pixie from Backwater and its doing fine eating like a beast. They state on their website that they will sex your frog but make no guarantees so I'm still not sure if I'm going to have a male.

got my baby from LLL I HIGHLY recommend LLLreptile, also if you can, wait til the spring, i feel bad having amphibs shipped in the winter you never know what can happen

I got my pixie from backwater reptiles mine is fine and i know people that have gotten animals from them and are doing great

Regardless of what store you use there are always risks with shipping. Back water has awesome customer service i have had frogs that i ordered from them live and i have had some die. Only the really expensive ones seem to have died with in the first week. Pixies were just fine.
