I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that the albino part is recessive but the lime green part is a result of line breeding . I want to say they selectively bred the pattern and some of the color out of the lime greens and also that other non wild type animals are being hatched with albino ones . It has been stated several times by breeders that frog genetics do not work like snake genetics . I don't know if that is true . I think that it is the way frogs are bred multiple males to multiple females all at one time in one area that is the confusing fact about the genetics . There are too many variables to nail down the one thing that causes certain breeding to reproduce certain animals .

Haha... Problem with snakes is that the females can store sperm from year to year. They don't do it often, but when they do, if you think they've mated with this year's male and they have babies from last year's mating it has the potential to get really confusing :P

That is one possibility with snakes and a lot of people are breeding to get clutches with multiple sires . Years back cornsnakes were horrible to breed . It was like a lottery of sorts get a pair of normal's breed them together and you didn't know what you were going to get .Four plus gene animals , and you didn't know what was what until you bred it back . Ball pythons are going that way and going fast . i'm still willing to bet that one day soon some kid is going to breed his normal balls that he got at a pet store and wind up with an albino,clown,pied , stripe ball . I know that's a long shot but its possible the number of possible hets that are sold of as normal's in balls is alarming .

I'm lucky I work with garters right now... They're not super prominent in the hobby, so people are just starting to really get into breeding the different morphs, and everything is a lot clearer than it gets with some of the more popular animals.
