1DUMPY: I will keep the eggs and let them morph into froglets. Once froglets I am not sure what ill do with them. Either Keep them and get another Tank. I do know for sure PET KINGDOM of Dan Diego wants me to be their Personal Red Eyed Tree Frog Breeder. I might do that under the condition that i change the terrarium they keep them in now until they sell. THe moisture conditions are no where near par for them in the pet store. Im in their daily checking on the ones they do have to make sure they are still healthy.

DemFluids: Ive posted pictures of the live Vivarium / Rain chamber Set up i have in my house. I have 14 RETFs. 6 Females 8 Males. (for better reproduction you should have more males. If you notice they will shake leaves and jump on one another to fight over the female. The female will see that and it will help her with breeding as well. As of now I only have 4 Females Ready for Breeding. The others did not get fat enough. Now i read your post. so heres what i have. 80 Gallon Live vivarium/ rain chamber combo. 60% of it is water /40% land. Its about 6 inches deep of water with plenty of branches/vines for the frogs to climb down or on if they want to get in or out of water. THey do this often. Humidity at night ranges from 70-75% I have an automatic mister / Rain system. I only turn the rain on at night and its a LIGHT ran drops.. Its not a heavy rain like you see in most videos off youtube... it drips rather than squirt out due to too much pressure. Also. Make sure before you try to start breeding them that the HUMIDITY is about 55-60% Temperature Ranges from 70-80 Degrees F. for a couple weeks to a month before you start the high humidity / rain system. If its been more than a week and your female has not put in effort into laying eggs (getting into to the water and absorbing water) Also you female may not be ready -OR- she does not feel comfortable enough due to much handling of the owner or its just not natural enough simulated spring time for her. Also I did notice this. My frogs only laid eggs after the ACTUAL rainstorm we had here in san diego. So Barometric Pressure Does have an influence on their success. If your frog is wild caught DO NOT HANDLE HER DURING THE PROCESS OF BREEDING. I have 2 females that will not lay eggs at all and get mounted often by the males. the males will fall off after 2-5 days and give up. I cant explain it.. They are super fat but wont lay eggs. SO i guess i am having the same problem as you. Just didnt seem to bother me soo much since I do have eggs out of the other 4 females. Ive done everything there is to do when breeding...But those females just wont lay eggs. I hope this helps. =/ I wish you luck. -CJ
