Default Whites tree frog hasn't recovered

So around February 1st I got baytril+ Silversifasilon( sorry I don't know how to spell it) I had gave it to my frog for around 21 days ( as it said ) But the marks never went away! I figured it was just a mark so I stopped for a week giving him the medicine! But now he didn't eat last night and they seem to be getting worse. Should I start giving him the medicine again? He is still eating just not as much! Thanks

How long has he been off the medications? It is odd that the spots didn't heal. I would call your vet. Continue the SSD cream and ask them about the Baytril. I have has to treat some of my sick rescues for 6 weeks before. I would ask your vet before doing so though. He may want to try a different antibiotic.

How are the temps and humidity levels in his home? How do his feces look? Are you using calcium/vita D 3 and multivitamin supplements?

I did have a big feces yesterday but today I just found 2 dead crickets (He has eaten them ) He looks huge, I think he may of overate ( I was on vacation and had a neighbor feed him, I just called my neighbor and he said he fed him 7 every other day ) UGH!!!!!

Give him a nice lukewarm dechlorinated water soak with about 3 drops of honey in it. Soak him for 15 minutes. Then give him a plain lukewarm dechlorinated water soak without honey to rinse the excess honey off. This will help him to poop again, if he has over eaten.

I'm not sure why the spots are there though. As mentioned, use the SSD cream to the spots, and give Dr. Frye a call Monday.

    Hi,
He just needs a chance to digest and take a nice long soak.

I would email Dr Frey again. Send him the clearest photo possible of the dark spots.
He is very busy, so remind him as to the frog's recent treatment, the duration of the treatment and the medications he prescribed.
It is really great........ you are prepared to re-treat with the topical SSD ( Silversulfadiazene) , if DR Frey thinks it's needed ?
In your email to him- may I respectfully suggest you describe actually how you applied the SSD.
( ie was it applied to each and every spot daily , AM, PM , with a Q-tip etc)

    Talk to you soon,
Lynn ( please, let me know )

You will also need calcium with vitamin D3 supplement. You should dust every other feeding with the ca/vitD3 and one day a week with the reptivite, but not on the same day.

It's always good to have on hand some plain, clear pedialyte and some reptaboost. I also keep liquid calcium supplement. These may be needed if he won't eat.

I get mine at Petsmart http://www.petsmart.comor Petco http://www.petco.com. Mine are in driving distance. I believe http://www.joshsfrogs.com also carries calcium supplements. You can even order some supplements on ebay, but I would stick to commonly used brands.

They need more calcium and vitamin D3 than in the mvi alone. They often exhibit signs of tetany before MBD. Signs of low calcium can include twitching, uncoordinated movements, tremors, seizures, paralysis. If your little fella is in the beginning stages of MBD, you can stop the cascade by providing the calcium/vita D3 and mvi supplements.

Is he moving around easily , climbing etc. ?

If you have never used calcium ( ???) , consider this:
Repashy Superfoods :: RETAIL SALES :: By Product Name :: RescueCal Plus :: RescueCal + 1kg BAG - Repashy Ventures - Distributor Center

    or

    Fluker's Liquid Calcium

Follow the directions very, very carefully, and/or speack to Dr Frye! Run this by him. Since you need to speak to him anyway (about the spots) .

Dr. Frye will know more as to whether he has MBD or not.

Monitor the way he moves. See if he can hop and climb easily or if he seems to have difficulty, drags any limbs, seems uncoordinated, or has twitching-like movements. These will help Dr.Frye to determine more about what is going on.

It is important to provide the calcium/vitaD3 even if no symptoms of tetany or of MBD are visible.

I am not sure if its MBD?

    Update 3/11
    3:35 Time

So he has turned green again witch means hes not stressed out! Yet, he's on the bottom of the cage! He hasn't really moved, but he has moved. He is sleeping though. He can walk/jump if I pick him up, but he isn't moving alot in his cage.
