So my guys are doing really well, not too stressed about the new additions to their tank (fake ivy for more cover/climbing since their log is now gone and the tank felt way too open in the middle), and I figured I'd like to get them a treat. I know meal and wax worms are a way to go as far as a once-in-a-while treat, since they're fatty. The problem I think I will have is that they are too big for my frogs. When I had my Gray tree frogs, I tried giving them one of these once, and it seemed way too big for them (and they were a bit bigger than these guys I have now). The smaller gray even had trouble swallowing one of them the first time I offered it, working at it for about half a minute, then pulling it out of his mouth, disinterested. So my question is, is there anything else I could try to get these guys that isn't too big for ingestion? Or could I maybe half the worm and give one half to each? Or would it stop wriggling and my frogs wouldn't be interested (most likely the case if it stops wriggling). Thanks for the responses.
