lol. Yeah, pet stores never sell them as the correct species. My cranwelli was sold as an ornate.

Very cute frog you have there . S/he is definitely a cranwelli. A very nice one.

It's true, pet stores very often mislabel them, sometimes to our advantage. Fantasy frogs are a mix of a cornuta and a cranwelli, as mentioned. They are neat frogs too. They are, however, sterile and cannot produce viable offspring. The females coloring tend to fade some. I have two fantasies, a male and a female. They have higher peaked horns and the common pattern on their backs.

I'll take some pictures if you'd like, but they are currently happily sleeping under their substrate .

because it is albino for one

I'm just wondering.... when labels are wrong it is less expensive frog being mislabeled as more expensive, it is so common that I'm starting to think if it is really because they don't know the difference.....

Heather, the more pics the better, please post when you can

Tank, the queen of our pacs...she is a brown cranwelli.

This is her puffed-up, mad look when I take her picture.

Ha ha! I know . I love taking photos of them. I have 3 pacs, 7 red eyed tree frogs, 2 cobalt darts, and a big ole male albino American bullfrog . They can be somewhat addicting . It all started with one retf.

You should peek through Grifthegreat, mikesfrogs, and PyxieBob's photos. They have some amazing pacman frogs . You'll soon want a whole rainbow, lol!
