As always I like to hear from the masses when it comes toquestions I don’t clearly understand. I hear a lot of different ways to sexGABF, if someone could clearly explain how to sex one maybe using my Africanbullfrogs as an example that would be most helpful to me and I bet others thatare confused on the subject as well. Thanks in advance guys.
(P.S......These pictures were a pain in the rear to take, all three of them wanted to go different directions.)

They all look like males to me. Big wide heads.
Yes, they are all males because of the plain yellow on their throat and the heads. But I have noticed that that males in general also have longer stripe things on their back, which yours have

Coloration with these guys isn't an accurate way to determine sex.
Females can often have just as bright coloration as males, and some even have more.
On the other end of the spectrum, I have a large male with almost no color to speak of.
Examples of females with bright color-

In my opinion, a better way to sex these guys is by comparing head width to the width of the body. Males always have large, broad heads. Females heads are more narrow, and they rarely grow larger than 6 inches SVL.
The best way? Listen for croaking
If you ever hear your frog calling, it's definitely a boy.
Btw, Soldierwillis, I noticed that your guy on the far left is much larger than the other two, and from a 3/4ths view you can tell he has a different bone structure in his face. Is he wc or from a different locality than the others? He's very interesting looking.
How old are your frog anyways?

easily over 2 months..
how to sex them:
males - first sign when they are babies their insane growth rate, by insane i mean it, they can easily double their size in a matter of 2 weeks when they are still tiny, provided they are fed and housed properly. When they are about 3-4" you can start making predictions with more or less certainty.
males will have a bigger, wider heads, it is not uncommon for a head to be 1/3 of a body at that size. and the most guaranteed sexing method is to hear them call.
females, slower growth rate, head is more narrow and small in comparison to the body and of course they don't call, adult females are smaller then males.
it is common for both males and females to have brighter coloration, that is no way to make assumptions about sex of a frog. both genders can be very bright or have no yellow ( or almost non).
Save one animal and it doesn't change the world, but it surely changes the world for that one animal!
