Grey Tree frog moss hammock

Hammocks are not just for humans and reptiles. Our amphibian friends enjoy them also. My neighbor has rigged up the small reptile hammock and loaded it with moist moss. They love to sit in here and enjoy the view. She'll warm up some “safe” water, soak the moss then put it back into the hammock and watch all three try to fit into this. They love their moss sauna.


This is the neighbors Bess (Hyla chrysoscelis), she's a big girl and spoiled rotten!! We raised them from tads 2 summers ago. I had a trio but they did not do well in captivity so they were released. So when I need a Cope's fix, I just go next door.

I'll let my neighbor know you guys like this. She is an amazing caregiver to our amphibian friends and when I go on vacation I know mine are in good hands.
