I'm getting ready 2 move and I wanna know the best way 2 do this that won't stress out my froggy...should I leave him n tank or put him n a lil box 2 relocate him...just not sure...thanks![]()
take the water out and leave him in, we are talking short driving distance, right? not like the whole day?

Lija,
For reference, how would you suggest long moves be completed?
Some time in the future I may be moving 8-10 hours away from my current location and I believe the info could be helpful to others as well![]()
it depends on a things like - how are you going to transport? what is the temp in a car ( if driving)! main question - can you put the tank in a car safely and maintain proper conditions ( temp and humidity) if the answer is yes, just go for it.
otherwise styrofoam box may be needed, i like it even if conditions are ok, styro will just keep it more stable. You put appropriate sized critter keeper with moist substrate and frog inside ( no dishes or no hides as they may shift and hurt the frog), use heat pacs if it is cold and i would put something in too so the critter keeper won't shift inside the box. If you are paranoid like me lol then you want to get a car adapter that you can plug regular appliances in and use heat cable with controller for the box have a misting bottle with treated water and just spray once in a while to maintain humidity.
