Ed!!! Why'd ya do that to me lol.. just when I think I'm getting close to deciding.. I see another one I hadn't looked into! Thanks for that hehehe.. and i have to agree, they are amazing looking!!

I read on josh's site that the auratus is more shy than the tincs or leuc's. Would you agree with that? How shy are they? Will they ever be out and about?

So I have heard that about the Auratus. However I have the Green and Bronze and they are my most active and out of all my PDFs. My Tincs I only see at feeding time, they abandon their fears for a quick meal then they are off to hide again. My Vents I can go days without seeing, but I love the little buggers so I deal with their Hermit ways.

I know Lynn however has some Auratus' and hers are very shy and she does not see them as much as her other darts.

Truthfully I think its just like people, some are shy and some are not. Also another thing to keep in mind is the more places you give them to hide the more likely you are to see them cause they feel more secure knowing they have multiple places to run to!

Ty for the info. I really like so many of the auratus. Hopefully I'll get some outgoing ones

So yeah the excitement is really building, I ordered 3 bags of abg mix, 2 bags of leaves, springtails, plants and wood today. I'm going to give the plants and springs a few weeks before I finally decide on which little ones I'll be getting. They are all so beautiful, it'll be a tough choice.

So jealous, it has been so cold here lately that I cannot get anything live shipped to me. We finally broke the cold for 3 days and now another storm around the corner (sigh). I need springtails and have not been able to get any for the last 2 months. Guess I know what I need to start breeding.
