Hello all
right I am not looking into breeding but am very interested in how it all works
I have read all over the Internet but don't actually explain fully I don't think eg. How long u don't feed them for before putting them into a dry season etc so I was just wondering if someone nice could come and talk me through it please
like a breeding care sheet?
Thank you very much, every reply means a lot and I am very grateful frogmadmeg![]()
Oh just found a care sheet on the home page
There are some hints on care sheets but it does not have everything. Us breeders have to keep it secret

There will be ample information for all keepers to spawn their own frogs soon. Grow them well into adults, be patient.
( NO SECRETS )
Isn't there a reason for keeping it proprietary? If every would be breeder floods the market with their spawn it is detrimental to the hobby IMO.
I have a solution! Just thought of it! We start a registry! Like with horses, or dogs! Then when all the effed up frogs start dying from health concerns (pre-chacoan breeding) we still have some viable bloodlines that you know won't be genetically flawed or low grade if you will.
No offense to the OP or M.Herp.
I share your desire to try it out. I can also see why its far more important to keep the specifics of breeding proprietary. Especially if the info that is released was entrusted to the author as proprietary information. That would be theft were it to be disclosed.

Flump my horned frog
What colour female could I breed him with and could u say what colour the baby's would turn out or not?
Meg![]()
So it turns put flump is a c.cranwell after all, so if I was to breed would I have to breed him with another cranwell
he is fully grown about 7-8cm
It's a Cranwelli, as I said it's not to hard to breed but a lot of work to raise the tadpoles, I'd suggest read up as much as possible have u also thought how u would feed them all house them,

I am not ready to breed yet anyway have no more room I'm just trying to get as much info for the future
So before breeding do the frogs go into estivation as I have read on the Internet they will form a bubble types thing around them to hold moisture in is this true?
do the females have to have the same treatment as the males eg. Feed days before going into dry season I assume they do but if they don't please may someone inform me as all I want is two healthy frogs to have healthy babies
apart from them questions I've found everything else I need to no on the web
Thanx for your replys everybody

says it all in there for u![]()
I say, don't breed. Let the experts do it and buy one of everything they have for your collection! That's what i do.. Right Mike Matson?! lol
Hi Meg. Sounds like you want to try it natural w/o hormone injections? That would be awesome. The little specifics on the brumation period, where and how to inject etc. You probably will have trouble finding out. Good luck.
