We all would love for our frogs to live in harmony with each other but sadly that always can't be the case, especially when it comes to food.
I've pushed away the signs of bullying for awhile now. I know I've made random comments about it here saying that it was "no big deal" or "just occasional", they were just too excited to eat. Well, I really watched my 3 frogs this past week and two days in a row I've had to pull Shrek's leg out of someones mouth. It was a very violent act where the other frog just would not let go even as I as trying to pull it away. It's sad to watch because he goes to the side of the bowl and sulks and regroups himself only to find that there is only one more cricket left or worse...none. (I tong fed him crickets when I felt like he wasn't getting enough).
I've now taken him out of the tank for feedings and he is the HAPPIEST little guy! With taking care of all my pets I've kind of forgot what a gentle little soul he is. I just scoop him up in my hand and he's so docile, it's been a great bonding experience for us. When I put him back in the big tank I make sure to put him up on a mushroom ledge way at the top of the tank, the other frogs don't even notice that he was gone!
So this is my warning for everyone that houses your frogs in one tank. Don't deny the signs of bullying and remedy the problem ASAP!
