    Default Camouflage!

Lets see those cool camo pics!

Here's one I took this week...this is his actual color change. The only alteration I made to this photo was a crop.

Any more pics of your frogs camouflaged?

My Uluguruensis can change color from very light green - dark brown. The yellow mottled ones don't really change color much. The places on them that are green (their background color) will change from light green - dark brown. But the yellow stays the same. These guys seem to know what color they are though. They always try to pick places to sleep that match their actual color. It's pretty neat.

This is my favorite picture of one of the mottled girls finding a place to blend in. Some people can't find the frog even though I've cropped it to place the frog in the center lol.

Here she is again on a dead leaf that has started to turn yellow.

This light green guy has found a light green leaf to sleep on. I actually couldn't find him for a while and even moved that leaf several times. But the bigger pictures make it so much easier to see him.

Then there is this green guy with the yellow spots. He found a green and yellow leaf to sleep on.

Here is an example of the yellow spotted frog turning brown. Only the green parts turn brown. The yellow stays the same.

It really is amazing how they can use nature to protect them.

I love the yellow and the brown pictures. Pretty frogs! Great examples!
