Too cute. Both of my male SIs love perch up on high. Apparently no one told them they're supposed to be a terrestrial species. Occasionally my female will leap to the edge of the glass after a FF.

Since when are Anthonyi suppose to be just a terrestrial species? males will regulary compete for the highest calling perch. and establish a "pecking order". the " alpha" male getting the highest calling spot. Iv found them even hanging out on the misting nozzle mounted at the top quite often. most of my clutches are even laid on leaves 2/3rds the way up

My mantella baroni males staked out high ground and guard it well. As do my male m. Betsileo. Although their highest perch right now is a potted fern.....lol but they too are supposed to be "terrestrial " and i quite often find the females cruising up high as well.

My cobalts do the same, climb to the highest corner and sleep there together.

Ya know what it is?? They most likely see your tree frogs all over the tank and thought, “hey, we can do that too!!”
