As the little baby White's are growing and growing, I'm moving them on up to a larger Exo Terra. This will be my first time attempting a pseudo build, so I'm starting out small, nothing too major. After hemming and hawing quite a bit, I've decided to not go with a live planted viv as I seem to have acquired a great skill for killing plants. While it would be more aesthetically pleasing to use live plants, as well as help with the humidity, I would feel bad getting in plants that would just inevitably die. I have, however, picked out a lovely variation of silk plants to decorate with.
I've also purchased some sheets of coconut fiber mats to use on the sides of the viv and possibly the floor. I do have some bags of sphagnum moss we use in the corn snake egg incubation tubs, and wasn't sure if anyone has used this with their White's. So not sure if that's a yea or nay vote on that one.
I'm going to sterilize the viv tonight and let it sit overnight, and set everything up tomorrow. If the temp and humidity stays consistent for 48 hours, I'll be moving the White's in and be sure to post pictures along the way
Here's a few shots of the future inhabitants!
