Hello, I have a 18X18X24 tank for my Whites Dumpy Tree frog and I have been having a hard time keeping the humidity up. The mister I use is a Zoo Med Habba Mist and I currently have the settings at 45 seconds for every hour. The problem is, the humidity often drops below 20% (well below the 40-60% recommend for WTF), instead it floods the bottom of the tank, which I line with paper towels. I have two water dishes, one is shallow and the other is deeper. Half of the top is covered with the lights and the other half has sheets of plastic and a plastic folder on hop. The temperate is about 70 degrees F.
I don't know what to do. Should I get a new mister or fogger? Should I add more paper towels to the bottom of the tank? Perhaps I should the humidity gauge closer to the middle of the tank or get a new one altogether? Any suggestions would be appreciated
