I am using medium sized aquarium rocks that I have built up for land on one side. they have a waterfall filter, and on top of that i am using coconut fiber and terrarium moss. They have many live plants, no fake ones. Because they do not require any special lighting, I am using a grow light for the plants, this is on top of the tank. There tank usually stays at about 65 degrees and 50% humidity. They are being measured by guages I bought from petco. I feed them mostly crickets. Lately, I have been feeding them meal worms instead of crickets every other day. When I feed them crickets, I also dust them with calcuim with D3.
My question is, by feeding them 1-2 worms or crickets a day, am I feeding them too much? I know many people only feed them every other day. However, when I feed them they always act hungry. I know they could eat more than what I feed them, but I don't want to over feed them. When I went back to petco, I noticed their fire bellies were smaller and usually they are imported adults. I also noticed they were darker green. I feed their crickets carrots to keep their bellies bright. Is their anything i could do to keep their green dark?
I appreciate any help!
