that is correct, basically someone reported that we have a pet snake. they did not report any of our other animals. (2 leopard geckos, 2 firebellies, and the turtle) only the snake was reported. so i have made the appropriate adjustments to make everything else, out of sight out of mind. but with the turtle, i cannot do that. as he has a running filter, which makes noise. therefore it appears, i will have to find him a new home to avoid having to get rid of the rest of our animals as well.

the apartments has absolutely no problem at all with our 2 birds. all reptiles of any kind are banned. therefore, unfortunately.... i think its in our best interest, to relocate the one tank that makes noise, to keep the rest of the group. =/

i believe that the little turtles are banned in every state, only aquatic turtles with a shell length of 4 inches can legally be sold. guess since we are so close to the border, they ae much more readily available? but i could be incorrect, i just feel like that is what i read somewhere...
