Hi, later this week or early next week I'm getting a 2cm cranwelli pacman frog, because he's small I'm keeping him in a 5 UK gallon (7 US gallon) tank that is 18"x10"x10" how long will it take him to outgrow his tank and at what size will he need a bigger tank
oh so you are just planning on getting? ok then
i would get even smaller tank for a little baby, one of those plastic keepers ( medium).
Save one animal and it doesn't change the world, but it surely changes the world for that one animal!
It depends on how much you feed him, pacman frogs as frogletts would eat every day to every other day eating about two to four small crickets a day. careful not to overfeed!
There are many factors can contribute to their growth rate. The amount of nutrition offered, proper supplementation, consistent climate conditions, low to no stress level, and good genetics.
The majority of them grow rapidly. If this is a tiny baby then offer food daily. Be sure to offer food that is no larger than the distance between the frog's eyes. Dust with a reptile calcium supplement with Vitamin D3 every other feeding to every couple feedings and with a reptile multivitamin once a week.
