They're nocturnal so you should feed at night. Break the hind legs off the crickets so that they are easier to catch. Leave them in over night, but remove any uneaten crickets the next morning.

I must say this - he is absolutely adorable.
ok, back to business let's continue going over your questions.
Tank is great, a bit confused about what kind of substrate you're using, in that awesome 4th pic it looks like coco husk, but in the rest of pics it seems that it is not. you need to use coco fiber ( eco earth, plantation soil), expand it with treated tap water, get rid of all bigger pieces in it if there are any. it has to be moist, but not soaking wet. did it answer your question about substrate?
temps - i don't see where your UTH is positioned, it has to be on a side. if one small that you have is not enough, get another one and stick it to the other side and increase ambient room temp, that would help a lot. you gotta increase temps fast, 73F for a baby is very very cold. you need 80-82 day, 75-78 night. most likely that is a reason he is not interested in food.
Save one animal and it doesn't change the world, but it surely changes the world for that one animal!

Thank you for the help, it is moss i had it filled up with it but heard it was bad so tried to remove it. There is very little left in it. i Think the heat mat is 7w so may move up to a 9-12w or another 7w heater so i could turn one off at night. Also do you think he/she is an ornate or cronwelli ( or how ever you spell it) thank you very much

You have a Ceratophrys cranwelli. You can use 2 UTH if needs be.
