Today I went to the Victorian Herpetological society reptile expo and got this little guy (or girl)
Not the best pictures but I don't want to disturb her (I'm going to assume its a she until I hear a croak)
I haven't decided on a name but I'm thinking daisy (suggestions are welcome!)

Hi there
thats one groovy lookin tree frog! im thinking a good name would either be shrek or shotsy, it all your choice. you dont have to choose these names.
Good luck naming the frog!
Will you get her a friend? I have 4 FB's and they all go in the cave together. I hear one croaking at night. I have 5 hermits and they must have argued the other night: I woke up to find their house moved, plants knocked over, plant in water dish, food dish tipped. I have never had crabs argue before..I'd like to know what it was about. But my frogs all like each other's company. I hope you get another one.

Thanks!and thanks for the suggestions
Daisy has grown on me so I went with that, but if I had of heard shrek sooner I would bet that would be her name! Its very fitting haha.
She already has a friendHis too little for them to be in the same tank and I need to quarantine her too make sure she is free from anything nasty and eating and pooping like a happy little froggy should haha. My spotted marsh frogs are like that, I have five in one tank and I always wake up to see they have done some "Decorating"
Thanks heaps Lynn! I see by your signature you've added alot of frogs to your collection, so congrats on your new babies too!
Thanks Bill!![]()
She is Litoria ewingii or Southern brown tree frog, but as you can see she is not the usual brown they are supposed to be! Sometimes they can have green flecks but I've never seen them to be like this, so when I saw them at the expo I new I just had to have one! She is a "green striped" southern brown tree frog. Long name for a little frog. I'm hoping the breeder working on these guys will breed out the brown, that would make a more interesting tank! Brown, stripey and green frogs all in one tank
Here is one of the guys I bred last year showing what they should normally look like

Oh I'm glad this frog has a friend! My 4 FB's get along and sleep together.
