I originally got these to feed the ghost shrimp that I have with my fbts, i put one in and they didn't touch it. I was wondering what I should do with them. So tonight I was thinking, Hmmm I wonder if my dubias would like it? It's made with zucchini and algea so I was thinking they would, and they do. They have been devouring them. They don't even come out and attack fruit like this when I put it in there

I see the same results from my cat and dog treats! My only advice is to keep an eye on the preservatives!

Very true didn't think about that. Just thought it was cool how they swarmed em.

So this spurred me to think about other commercially available food that might work to feed the roaches. I've tried flukers orange cube a while back and well they would rather just not eat it seems lol. So just now I dropped in some reptomin stick that I use as my ACF's staple and got that swarming response again.

So I'm thinking that if it that makes a good nutritional diet for my ACF then it should be a good diet to feed my feeder roaches?

Yup. Sounds like a good plan.

I have used some pond pellets that are goldfish and they seem to love them. Sounds like you are having fun with them seeing what they really like. Seeing them swarm a food has to give good indications of their preferred diet. Mine won't swarm anything when I watch but the colony is still small and new.
