Thanks for your comments! I've browsed the forum for growing rates and agree he has grown a bit slow compared to other pyxies. How much, on average, do they normally eat during 15 minutes when they're this small? The first crickets I got for him were quite big (black). It looked like he was "putting them in place" in his belly by rolling or twiddling his body if you get the picture. It looked rather uncomfortable for him so I didn't dare to offer him more than four at a time but perhaps I was overprotecting him. Now I have bought smaller crickets (brown) so now it feels safe to let him eat as much as he wants during 15 minutes. I would also like to get some roaches but so far they have been sold out in the pet shops I've called.

mines about 5inch now and he will be 2 months next friday.. my guy hasn't eaten for 2 days but he is fat and at the moment is deep underground for some reason.. but anyway i guess it depends on your frog really.

no just worms lol.. infact about 6 mins ago he ate his first mouse.. might be because i havent feed him in two days due to the pet shop having **** dead food in stock, but yeah his first ever mouse pretty cool.

I tried mice before too but couldn't do it again, they are just to damn cute and squeak when being eaten just way to much for me.
