Could you get some more pictures of the frog? He looks a bit strange... what kind is he? I need to see his mouth and eyes better. And what's that odd bump on his nose?

He might be a bit ill, just warning you.

This looks like a Painted frog. I agree with Caspian. Your frog doesn't look too good. This is a burrowing species and the water dish you have it in looks to deep. It should be no deeper than half the height of the frog.

It's a bit hard to tell from the image but it looks like it just popped its head above the water and that it's a waterdrop on the nose.

Anyways, these guys are very cool! Love their grumpy faces.

He does seem to have a little bump I figured it was from rubbing his nose off things. He is a cubby frog. I appreciate the concern =)

He actually doesnt look bad at in all person. This isn't my first rodeo. As for the water dish the water level is appropriate and not how the picture makes it out to be. He is a great guy super alert eats fine so far of course I realize these things can change fast. I appreciate the conern and i will be keeping an eye on him. If he starts to go south I have a herp vet in my area that I'll be taken him too.

Pretty sure he took the photo at a bad time. Not too certain about the water comment, but they do like it shallow and I recall that the newly transformed froglets drown easily.

Yes that is what happened haha Well the little guy is still alive and kicking doing very well. Eating and using his water bowl regularly. He has quite the personality. Every time I spray his tank he starts to croak! Thanks for looking
Oh and this little guy is almost a full adult.
