    Default No poop yet.

Okay so I have 2 PacMans. One is an a solute destroyer of foodstuffs. His appetite is only rivaled by that of his grumpy *** attitude. I have had him for about a month now but he has yet to poop, that I can find. The other has what I surmise to be an impaction (came from the store like that), I have honey soaked them both but still no poop. How long does it usually take for them to defecate?

A month is a pretty long time without pooping, especially if they are eating well.
Can we get pictures of both the frogs? Also, if you can post all the info in the 'Trouble in the Enclosure' sticky, that will help.

Other than that, feel the frogs' right sides. Is there a hard lump there? If so, that's a pretty good indicator that they're impacted. Honey soaks are good to do, as well as pedialyte baths (unflavored). I personally don't use the pedialyte, so you will have to wait for someone else to tell you the proper ratios for that.

Yeah only one has a hard lump. The flayer of foods is as soft as a baby's but. The other one however, has a lump on the right side. They are both in separate 51qt tubs with 2 UTH's on the side and their own 50w lights above. It's been cold and without risking my power bill it's a challenge to get the tubs to 80. They both usually stabilize at 78-79 daytime and 73-75 at night, not ideal but not completely horrible either.

That will be ok for a while. It will be slightly warmer by the UTH.

So success on one end. The one with the appitite for destrucion, always wanted to use that in a sentance, has since releived himself. However, the other one has not. How often should I do the honey soaks? I have been doing them when I feed the other one, every 3 days, but my albino has yet to pass this impaction. I when I soak him the water is 80 degress and is treated dechloronator and has 3-4 drops of honey in it and I let him sit for 15 min. He is soaking now but I have increased the time to 20 min. I watch closely for a few minutes and he seems to be bearing down as to poop but nothing happens. He hasent eaten in a couple of weeks (not a huge issue, but getting worse by the day).

So my question is: How often can I honey soak him?

Do it daily and Force feed it some Repta Boost. Use correct dosage. Gently massage ghe lump in small circles.

What is repti boost and what does it do? How long should I massage for and how often should that occur.

Massage every time you soak the frog. Do it every couple minutes during the soak. Repta Boost is a supplement for malnurished Reptiles and Amphibians. It is basically powder food that you mix with water and syringe feed it to the frog. It gets absorbed directly by the frog's system so there is no waste produced. It will not make the impaction worse and will provide food and energy so the frog does not become weak from not eating and using so much energy trying to remove the blockage.

It is made by Fluker's. Look it up and purchase it.
