    Default Prolapse question

I'm sorry, I know this has been posted over and over again but I'm freaking out just a little bit this morning. When I turned the Froggles light on this morning I noticed Shrek was taking a poop. Lucky for me I came in when I did because I happened to notice that there was a very small amount of pink tissue(?) coming out. He was able to push it back in most of the way and then he went himself and soaked in his water. It's completely back in now.

I am giving him a honey bath as I type this as a precaution. He's not really sitting in it like a good boy but it's a plastic bowl so he keeps sliding into the water LOL! I think he gave up, he's up against the side of the bowl with his butt in the water, I think he's tired. Anyway, my question is since it's gone back in do I need to quarantine him or can I put him back in gen pop but keep an eye on him? Also, do I have to withhold food from him?

Shrek is a Whites tree frog.

He will most likely be fine. Just be sure to keep a close eye on him and try to offer more easily digested foods like earthworms for a while.

I would collect the fecal sample and have a fecal exam done by a vet to test for parasites.

Thanks Grif. I've calmed down a bit. He's sitting in a critter keeper right now and seems to be fine (except from the stress of being handled). I'm not going to feed them tonight just to give them all a break.

My shipment of crickets came yesterday and some were bigger than I expected. I'm going to make sure they get the smaller ones and the beardie can have the bigger ones.
