    Default sugestions on lighting

i dont think my ornate is getting enough sunlight and i dont have anywhere at home to give her light so shes sat in the dark for long periods of time so i was woundering what light or brand of lighting would be best suited for my baby pac? also i work in open areas alot where the fields arnt treated with any pestersides and the soil isnt treated in anyway is it ok if i feed earthworms to my frog that i may come across?

Whatever light you get you will want something 50w or less. Having too bright of light can stress them out or hurt their eyes. You can get a flukers clamp with a built in dimmer so you can easily adjust how much light and heat it gives off.

Personally I wouldn't risk the worms

I got mine at a pet shop for $15

just get regular low voltage bulb to provide night/day cycle, anything would do including regular table lamp I usually use 13W energy saving bulbs for mine, unless it is a very big tank ( not for pacs). you sure don't need anything with a dimmer for lights, you need those for heating lamps.

for worms- never feed your pac anything from the outside, it may not contain pesticides, but may have heavy metals and who knows what.
Save one animal and it doesn't change the world, but it surely changes the world for that one animal!

Having a dimmer on normal incandescent bulbs for day and night can be useful, but unless you need supplemental heat from a heat lamp then it isn't entirely necessary. You do need to provide a 12 hour day/night cycle though.
