I'm curious: All the bullfrogs and Ranids in my area hibernate/aestivate during the winter and early spring, but do they have to? Would it be beneficial if I had my frogs hibernate, or is it healthier for them to stay awake and active and eating?
Note: I'm unsure what the terms are, and which apply to American bullfrogs. Sorry if the title of the the thread is confusing.
