Thanks of the advise!! Any idea what would cause a prolapsed intestine??

Poison is correct and this can also happen with frogs, but most prolapsed intestines are caused by parasites which cause the intestine to swell from irritation and when the frog tries to poop it pushes too hard and the intestine is pushed out. An impaction can also cause a prolapse. Malnutrition and deficiencies as well.
