how to tell the difference between ornate and cranwelli

I am going to buy a pacman frog soon from a local pet store and the pac they have is listed as an ornate. I know some stores will list them as an ornate when they are actually a cranwelli. I dont want to be over charged for a cranwelli. I know it would help if i could post a picture but i dont have a camera or a picture phone at the moment. Any help would be appreciated.

Ornates have more vivid coloring and pattern. The main difference is the false eye spots on the back of each eye of ornates.

baby ornates have also more round "faces" and smaller horns in comparison to cranwelli.
that is cranwelli pattern, see the difference?

Yeah i see the difference thanks. There is anothe petstore close to this one that has a pac listed as a craanwelli. I should probably check to see if its an ornate and get a good deal. Though when i seen that one it was covered in dirt and couldnt even see what color it was. The guy working there poured water on it so i could see it then i realized what he was doing and told him to stop. Felt bad for the little guy

So i went to buy the ornate tonight and it turned out it was a cranwelli. I told the lady working there that i really wanted it but was going to overpay for a cranwelli and she admitted that yea ornates are more vivid in coloring and spots but wasn't coming down on price so i told her i was going to go up the road to petsmart. I get to petsmart and they had sold the only pacman and i was so upset. Then i remembered another petstore up the road. Went in and they had a brown cranwelli and a green cranwelli they were selling as an ornate and i got so upset untill i spotted a little albino in a cage on the end. It was love at first site. So i bought him and brought him home he has eatin 3 crickets already and I'm so happy i passed up the other

Right now all i havebis the crappy pic from the other thread. My phone takes horrible pics but i will try and steal my sisters phone today to get more pics when he comes out of hiding. He is beautiful! I love her lol
