How do I get my pixie frogs to croak?

mine croaks everytime i do change of substrate and when i expand my eco earth bricks, i use warm water...causes massive humidity and makes my frog croak...yesterday i change his water out with warm water and got his tank really humid, and he started croaking like 30 mins afterwards...or try the female frog thing LOL
