Thanks again Bill. I actually think I have the snails in check. I only see one or two in there from time to time so I'm not hugely worried about it anymore....I used a cooked cabbage on the end of fishing line in the dark technique. Thank you for the advice about the plants..it is a huge relief to hear they should be fine. I have a small piece of wisteria in there that is visibly perking back up already. I got my Marimo balls after the saltwater fiasco but it turns out they like a few grains of salt in some cold water every once in a while...I just do it outside the tank now. By the way...if you don't have any you would probably LOVE them just as much as I do Also, thank you for the compliments about the tank. I plan to get another one and separte the danios from the frogs so they can live as close to normal as possible. I really do like the Aqueon Evolve tanks....my next one might be the 8 gallon! Before I know it I will have a house full of 55s like I did in my early 20s! I can't wait.

ya know, i always forget about the snail traps. they have never worked for me in the past, and i am never in any rush with my tanks. i had marimos once. i actually cut them up and used them as a cladaphora carpet in my 8 gal ebi (before i broke the sucker).

That is a really cool idea. I broke my first one up and made 5 out of it...I have three more on their way from Malaysia now. hehehe I may very well try the carpet thing. I like that idea. I like my plants as much as my frogs. My Marimos have names!

    Welcome to the forum

Oh, I love ADF's. Though I've yet to buy one or two, I love 'em. Aquatic animals have always fascinated me. One of the reasons I love my American bullfroglets so much, they're both land and water animals, though they prefer the water.

That's an awesome setup you got for your froggies, I'm jealous smaller tanks are underrated. You can truly make them look beautiful.
    My Amphibians:
1.0.0 Rana Catesbiana (Bumpy Digtoad )
    1.0.0 Pseudacris Regilla (Levi )
1.1.0 Ambystoma Macrodactylum (Urtham and Gargan )
2.2.0 Bombina Orientalis ( Rosa, Sasha, Aleksis, and Dimitri )

Rest in Peace, Gnag the Nameless, Chrome, and Thermidor

Thank you so much. I really do adore the small tank but I want more...and bigger!

I know exactly how you feel! When I had my bullfroglets in the 20 Gallon, I was just like "Ah, this is too small..." and so I went and got their 30 Gallon!

I used to have 55x3 20x2 30x1 and 10x2 in a two bedroom trailer! I was obsessed. I'm headed there again but I can't think of anything better to be obsessed with. Although...my landlord at the time was NOT happy when he discovered it.
