Yeah, my frogs will miss a cricket or wax worm and I remove it the next day. They get caught between rocks and plants and mine just get gooey. If they're in the water long enough I can see where they could grow something gross. This is why I check my tank every day. I change water often and don't let it become cloudy or stagnant.
