Does anyone here know if it's ok to simulate moon light for my guys at night? I want to be able to view them better at night but don't want to disturb them. If its ok to do so what are some recommendations I can use thats on the cheep sides? I have a small custom LED panel I made for my fish tank that doesn't get too bright bit not sure if its nearly enough to see them with.
Moonlight bulbs are fine for nocturnal use. They don't bother the frog, but I wouldn't use it all the time at night since the moon is not always visible or bright in the sky. Maybe cycle the moonlight bulb in when an actual full moon is near.
EDIT; They make night time viewing and heat bulbs called Moonlight Blue.
never used that light for pixie, but I do use it for my waxies, not constantly though, males always go crazy when moonlight is on, even if it is not season, I wonder if same effect would be on pixies.
Save one animal and it doesn't change the world, but it surely changes the world for that one animal!
