    Default Hello from Pa

hi everyone been browsing the forum for a few weeks now, screwed up my registration or i would have been here sooner, so lets get started with the setup's ive went through and what i currently have goin, but first wanna thank heatheranne and GriftheGreat for the help and dealing with my pm's while i was have account trouble

this was the recommended setup from petsmart but the water turned yellow fast so i removed the wood and changed the water but the one toad turned dark green

this was my second setup attempt and still didnt realize i was sold too small of rock for these guys and i think i ended up the first two toads to impaction

at this point i have done tons of research but dont have the funds atm to really make the tank perfect so for a temp setup (2-3 weeks) i have them like this, i have plans for a 20gal+ with tetra waterfall

    heres the current toads

JD & Camo camo is on the bottom

    Brownie

and heres pacman and his setup...yes its big but i really have no use for this tank other then to display lots of plants and to house him in...i think it will be perfect once i fill it in with more plants, anyone tried a bonsai in there setup?

when i got him and before i went without moss on the ground in his tank

    his current setup

he seems to be getting bigger and doin ok...except the darkness on his back is that normal??

thanks for checking out my collection and iam looking forward to you suggestions to keeping these guys/girls for a very long time, still need to sex them all have no idea yet!

    Welcome to Frog Forum !
I don't keep FBTs, but they look great to me. The brown one is adorable.

There is a care sheet for both, as well, under the heading 'Care Articles'.

Welcome from another part of PA! remember, the little ones don't require the "perfect setup" they just need a safe, happy home (which you seem to have provided), and they will be happy frogs

so like i intended to do i built a viquarium, only used a 20gal high and iam thinkin i should have went bigger but they seem be really happy with the new setup i even added 2 more toads iam def. maxed out now!

but if you look at the one pic its the two new toads the one on the left i suspect to be a female because ive seen some say they smoother with far less warts???the other guy was huge so i had to grab him up.

and since i moved the firebelly's out of the 10gal, i decided it was prolly best if i put pacman in the 10gal so now he has a pretty sweet lil home and i added a Reptifogger too him not impressed with it too much but it does what i need it too, has a horrible buzzin sound sometimes (tapping it sometimes helps)

ended up deciding iam not gonna get red-eyed croc skinks either, i adopted a older beard dragon who is missing some toes and a few inches of his tail, i figured everyone would not buy him because of that and i couldnt let him live the way they had him, hes freakin awesome though really calm and doesnt eat anything unless you tong feed him (can you say LAZY)

went to petco to get some supplies saw this 1 foot plus pleco who was up for adoption well he ended up being free and you know seeing how the 40 gal bowfront was empty its time to start a aquarium now.... its up and running when its cycled fully iam gonna add some small schooling fish and possibly some of the african claw frogs i beleive they are called

all this and then my 3 dogs, cat and 4 year old.... yep we bought a zoo... $5 dollar admission please call ahead for reservations.

but yea here check everyone out!!
