    Default Lighting and basic care

    hello, set up my first planted tank i have some 15w daylight basking bulbs and a 2.0 uvb bulb, is this sufficient and any tips? a lot of the leaves look like there dying

    What size is the enclosure? How long ago did you plant? What's the humidity like? There are many reasons why leaves can go yellow. Are all your plants turning yellow? Or just some? A pic would also be helpful.

    its 45 by 45cm and 60cm tall about 3 -4 weeks ago i planted it, no just some of the leaves are starting to go and one of my climbing plants looks like its starting to die, and humidity is 83%

    well theres a dragon plant (thats doing ok) mondo grass (also doing ok) its the ivy not looking so clever in places and some sort of creeping fig :/ also i cant get moss to grow! is there anything i should be doing to help care for my plants in the viv? and are my lighting requirements met with a 15w daylight basking and a 2.0 uvb bulb?

    i would think it is the lighting. i'm not 100% familiar with the 2 bulbs you are running. you may have to check their specs, but you want your lighting to be in the 6500k (kelvin) color temperature range. by any chance is the ivy low in the tank, where it is shaded? some ivy species prefer a lot of light.
