    Large crickets are too big and the frog not eating them is it's way of telling you they're too big. Use small crickets to just under medium. These will be half an inch to 3/4" long.

    Well thats kinda neat lol.. I went by the feed them only half their body length but I guess he just doesn't want to eat all that! so today I'm going out to get 2 dozen crickets. he usually eats 5-7 at a time every other day.

    They also won't always eat every night. So no worries.

    I had this thought that If he was eating 5-7 every other night that If i gave him one big one it would satisfy his hunger quicker and I wouldnt have to chase these little teeny weeny crickets around my kritter keeper lol!

    That is not the way to think. Feeding food items that are to large can be dangerous. Adult crickets heads are armored and cannot be digested. They can cause an impaction if the frog is not large enough to accept them.
