    Default other Red Eye colorations

So we have two males and one female RETF and they will be moving into their new home with room to spare and freeing up a second isolation tank. The girlfriend at first wanted to mix species to add variety but I did my research and talked her out of it. We want to keep only one active tank at a time to avoid massive headaches when we move in a year or so. Our little boys and girl are the common captive bread colors of blue with cream stripes and purple-blue inner legs. We were wondering where we could find some more northern colored red eyes (orange legs) or albinos that were also captive bred.
I've never been to a repticon so I don't known if that would be a good place to start. And I'm Leary of shipping frogs.

    Advice? Input?

Gena read this and corrected me. She no longer wants to mix different types of animals. Wants to mix tree frogs. She argues that the RETF and Glass Tree Frog are from the same region and close in size.

We are still looking for other colored Red Eyes.

    Hi Tyler,
ie If you purchase 2- CB tree frogs:
from 2 different breeders - ie ( Michael Novy ) and one other
They may have different "coloration" on their legs.

    Michael breeds Albinos as well.

I would not worry about shipping from Michael or a reliable business such
    as Josh frogs.

if you want to mix, why not go with red eyes, black eyes, albinos, ect.

as far as the glass frogs, i would do a bunch of research on that. even though they are from the same region, they may have different care requirements. also, good luck finding them....lol

Three------ A callidryas - red eyed tree frog 'morphs' (forms of the species ) --that can be mixed are:
    -regular red eyeds
    -albino red eyeds
-xanthic red eyeds ( looks likes an albino but the eyes remain silver into adulthood/ rather than turning red )
These are difficult to find !

Yay! Bill Still comes around! I need to do an update on my "Grandfather Clock" build. it has been a while since I updated and will be moving the frogs over tomorrow

Verb, your story is the reason I hesitate to order a frog. It's heart breaking. I want to stick to personal transports or maybe reptile conventions (Chicago)

Lynn, Thanks for the info on Rainforest Junkys. poking around their site I found they are working on a Black bodied morph of Red Eyes.

I'll be sure to update with what I find.

If we could get a mating trio of each of these We would be just super stoked and be broke. or rich if we bread them.
