Kind of curious here. I just noticed my ACF shed twice in two days, it's kind of bothering me. Not sure what could be causing this, I always thought they only shed every week or two weeks but I seem to notice my frogs shed a bit more frequently.
Anyone have idea what could be causing this? They eat skin, every time. My frogs are very active and healthy and have great appetites and color. Nothing physically seems wrong with them.
I test my water weekly and I always have 10ppm Nitrate or less, no Ammonia or Nitrate. The pH in my tank is a pretty stable 7.. I do bi-weekly 25% water changes, the tank is heavily planted and it has a pretty beefy canister filter on it for three frogs in a 40 gallon breeder.
The only thing I COULD think of are some rocks I added to the tank a while back I found in a creek in a state park. I don't know if they could be the cause but I've removed them to play it safe.
Anyone have any ideas? Seeing my frog shed twice in less than 48 hours doesn't seem right to me.
