    Default Probably A Stupid Question...

Ok, Actually 2 questions. Sheldon doesn't show any evidence of coming out of his hole at night and soaking. So should I put him in his water every so often or just leave him be? And 2. When would be the best time to move Sheldon from his hole and clean it out? At night or during the day? He is more active during the day than night.

You don't need to force him to soak. He'll self regulate. Probably getting all the moisture he needs from his substrate.

Do you mean to clean the poo out of his burrow? If you notice poo, it's better to clean it immediately to avoid bacteria spreading. If you mean just cleaning the area where he was, there's really no reason to do that. Honestly, unless he freaks out every time he sees you (some frogs do that) it won't hurt to quickly scoop him out of his burrow to clean. Doesn't really matter when you do it.
But as for how much care you need to take not to stress your frog with cage maintenance, a lot of it depends on the frog. My girl really doesn't care what I do in her tank, but some frogs go nuts if you do much of anything. Just adjust what you do to how scared your frog gets.

I would leave Sheldon alone and let him be as long as the substrate is kept moist and humidity high. If Sheldon acquires enough moisture from the substrate it's burrowing in, it wouldn't not need to search for addition water source (water dish).
The best time to move Sheldon from his hole for cleaning depends on his pee and poop. Usually after pooping, they will move out of their previous burrow and change to a new spot. If that's the case, Sheldon does not need to be handled. But if you smell poop in the tank and Sheldon remained in the same old spot, it is possible that he's sitting in his own poop. If that's the case you'll need to move it out of the way to spot clean.
Another time to move/handle Sheldon for cleaning is when you flip/turn the substrate or switching out the old EcoEarth with fresh ones. Substrate is recommend to be changed once a month.
