Does anyone know at what size/age it is reasonably possible to determine a pixie's gender? and what age/size and lower/smaller is way too early to even begin to make that judgement of wheather it's a male or female?
It dependsusually at about 3-4" you can tell.
Save one animal and it doesn't change the world, but it surely changes the world for that one animal!
I'm not sure if it means anything but if you have a few babies that are the same age you can get a feel from growth rate. I have two that are growing insanely fast and one that is going slow. The two faster growing ones are shaping out in length and head while the smaller one is getting wider but not nearly as big. Granted they are maybe 2 months old.
Yes, males grow faster then females, so you can suspect sex.
