    Question ADF question

Since I've got a spare 2.5 Gallon tank, I have been planning on getting an African Dwarf frog.

However, I've done my research, and I'd need a 5 Gallon for two frogs. I can get a 5 gallon, but I'm not really planning on getting 2 frogs. But I am worried; do ADF's need a fellow frog to live aside? Will they get lonely alone?

If they do, then I am willing to buy a 5 Gallon and commit to the 2 frogs.

Note: I've not abandoned the raising-tadpoles-to-frogs project, Unclechester. A friend of mine and I are going to do it together. We are currently beginning to prep the 10 Gallon. We've also located the area to find Red-legged frogs.
    My Amphibians:
1.0.0 Rana Catesbiana (Bumpy Digtoad )
    1.0.0 Pseudacris Regilla (Levi )
1.1.0 Ambystoma Macrodactylum (Urtham and Gargan )
2.2.0 Bombina Orientalis ( Rosa, Sasha, Aleksis, and Dimitri )

Once again, just a "Yes" or "No" would be appreciated.

I do not keep ADF but loneliness is a human feeling and amphibians don't get lonely (nor do most animals) and while an ADF wouldn't mind company of his own kind but I doubt it cares either way.

So long story short, hymenochirus are perfectly content living alone in an aquarium.

Alright. Thanks for the answer. I just want the best for the frog.

I have read that they should have another with them...I had one alone for a few weeks and it seemed fine though. I bought the other just because it made me feel better for him to have a friend. I have 2 in an Aqueon 4 gallon tank. HTH I think they have finally reached some type of maturity level because I have caught them "practicing" twice now. Well....he is practicing...she is throwing him off. lol
