How long does it take for a frog to be good with tong feeding ? Thanks I'm hopeing it will be a female and turn into a bruiser. My next frogs definitely going to be a ornate or Surinam
The amount of time it takes for a frog to become tong trained depends on the individual frog. Some take to it immediately, some take a little time, and others will never take from tongs.

Dubias and crickets are fine. Add some Night Crawler chunks and you've got a great diet for the frog.

Be sure to provide some cover from the light so the frog doesn't just sit beneath it unshaded.
