Well it's here and all drilled. Ignore the duct tape, Jason had to redo the upper c channel because it had a bubble in it that he didn't like so it's curing. Doors are off at the moment while the c channel sets in place. Beautiful tank. Now to decide how I'm going to do the background. At the moment I'm thinking cork panels with some driftwood siliconed across from side to side and side to back.

    Josh,
    This looks really great!
The tattered edge is a great idea.
Not surprised you came up with this !

How did the silicone work with the cork panels ?

Ooh! I'm getting excited! I'm wondering what the surprise gadget is.

Have you ever used the epiweb before? I'd love to try it.

got bored so decided to add the substrate and get some springtails going. Messed around with a couple plants too. The stump looking piece on the right is staying, the piece on the left is up in the air depending on what I do with the epiweb branches that should be in sometime next week.

threw a little sheet moss on the stump to see if it will take off there

got the epiweb branches today. Bought one of each size and ended up using the large and small branch to make this setup. Ignore the driftwood its just holding the branches in place until i tack it in

Thanks. This is only the third tank i have built. I enjoy creating the vivs gives me something to do! If my house and wallet would support it id probably have too many tanks if thats possible. Hopefully when my girlfriend finishes nursing school she will by me a big house with a frog room!

My advice for building a tank is just wing it when it comes to decor. I tend to over buy supplies and set them all out and go at it like bob ross
