She hasnt ate in about 2wks and shes pooped since her last meal and now i gave her enough substrate to bury herself completely, and she has for a couple days now. Is this aestivation? Or should i continue soaking her once a week?
Has the weather changed? Colder? They will sometimes try to aestivate even if the climate in the enclosure is consistant.
You could let her be for a couple more days or dig her back up and give another warm soak. In order to fully aestivate the substrate must be dry so adding more moist substrate won't allow for full aestivation, but she can still sleep. It's up to you what you want to do.
I changed her substrate and its almost bone dry but it still gets condensation in the cage. I guess ill let her be for a couple days and then wake her up. And yes it is cold outside but warm in the enclosure, thats proly why.
