I have one White's tree frog, most likely a girl, and she is about 6-7 months old at my best estimation. She's about an inch in length and chubby.
I want to get her a friend, because I am also upgrading her terrarium. She has lived with other frogs before and does fine.
I have three options for a new companion for her:
- A larger white's tree frog (about 2 inches long) from Petsmart
- A smaller white's tree frog (about 3/4 of my frog's size) from Petco
- A red-eye tree frog (I don't even know if the two species can live together but I think they are so cool). The ones I've seen are between 1 and 2 inches long.
So, which would be best and are there any precautions I should take? I would love more than one opinion on this.
Thanks!!
