ADF Questions

i have a few ADF questions ... my first question is purely aethestics ... black gravel or natural? * can adf's have zoo med pellets as well as frozen and live foods? * can i use a coconut hut as a hide or is there a drowning risk? i am sure i will have more in time lol ... i am still reading every care sheet i can find

I have kept ADF's for a while now and as far as drowning goes I don't think the coconut hide would be a problem.

The gravel color can make a bit of a difference since a natural might hide the food.
also you need to make sure that the gravel is large enough that the frog can't possibly eat it.

I use a small ceramic dish to feed them.
The food combo is ok a varied diet is best.

Tall tanks are kinda hard on the young ones.
but I have a 46G bowfront with 7 in it and they seem to be doing just fine.

i only have a 5 for 2 but according to everything i have read 2.5 gallons per frog is fine i am planning to buy a little ceramic dish also ok great i will order the coconut then i will look at the gravel size i was thinking pea size ok i was going to get the frozen variety pack , pellets, livebearer fry, and the occasional shrimp
