How much and how often should whites tree frogs eat?

I feed my little guy about 4-5 crickets a night. I feel like I am starving him if I don't. Although, I was wondering if its bad that I only hand feed him? I get all excited to hand feed him. Is this bad? There are two small/medium crickets still in there that I see running around when I wake up to change my lighting
