Well today I decided since Shelly was eating fine, it was time for me to mix up his substrate a bit. I also did some rearranging and now have enough room on the other side of my 20gal tank to put another pacman! My boyfriend is the one who actually gave me the idea! WOO! But I had to dig sheldon up and put him in his cup and I soaked him for a bit, His color is getting lighter instead of darker and it looks AMAZING! I love him!! So here are some pics of the Tank and of shelly. The light is down in the tank just while I was mixing the substrate so I could see what the heck I was doing. He is a weird little froggy though. He LOVES being out during the day and will eat and eat.. but once it's night, thats it. He buries down and will NOT move until morning. lol He is certainly like his/her owner

Ive never heard of pacmans turning lighter before! BUT if you are housing two pacmans together, its likely only one will survive. they are very agressive feeders and will eat pretty much anything that moves, including other frogs.However you can put two on the 20 gal just put up a divider for fish or silicon some plexiglass in the middle

Make sure you seal the barrier between sides completely so that it makes two seperate enclosures. You do not want them to be abke to get to each other at all or cross contaminate each other's enclosures.

Oh yeah I am, Before I go and Buy another one I'm going to get a piece of Plexiglas and put in the divide and decorate it with some rocks or something to make it look natural.

Don't know if you've gotten another, but personally... if it were me. I wouldn't even house the new frog in the same tank, even if it is divided with plexiglass. Besides the risk of contamination which has already been pointed out, if it's clear plexiglass, I don't know if seeing another might stress out either frog. You can get opaque plexi, although it's more expensive (over here there's a good company that sells it for about £4 per A3 sheet (about $6). So might have do some digging. But I'm generally paranoid about these sorts of things, and for any new animal it's a 3 month quarantine period and fecals sent to the vet straight away, but that's just how I am

It is generally recommend that the divider be covered with some sort of background. Or as you mentioned, us an opaque material. This eliminates the stress of being able to see the occupant on the other side. If it is properly sealed, then cross-contamination shouldn't be a problem. There is always some risk, of course, even when the frogs are housed completely separately.

Yeah I havent decided what I wanted to do yet (no I have not gotten another yet, Im going to wait till Sheldon is a little older since Im having to give him a lot of attention) But I might do Regular Cling on background or I had an idea to hot glue some smooth river rocks to it.

You could sandwich some background between two thin pieces of plexi. Hot glue doesn't bond to river rocks well, I tried a little while back and it was a fail

Over here in the UK, Exo Terra make a fake rock background to stick on the back of their glass vivs, so they do come in all sorts of different sizes but it's also made of Polystyrene so it's quite easy to trim down with a crafting or stanley knife to get the size you need. If I remember right, it's a US company as well, so you may be able to find somewhere local to you that sells them.
