Hello everyone,
I am new to the forum. I came hear looking for help with housing my bullfrogs (Rana Catesbeiana). Specifically, I am using reveres osmosis water (kind of like DI water) and am looking for a recipe for reconstituting it with the appropriate additives (minerals, trace elements, etc.). I have found a recipe in the AZA husbandry guide (link is below). I'm ok with using this, but I was hoping to use a commercial additive mix that would suffice, like instant ocean. Does anyone here have experience with reconstituting RO water for frogs? Any advice would be helpful.

i've never done it for frogs, but i have used ro for shrimp. i just mixed it with de-chlorinated tapwater to get the parameters i wanted. there are things like fluval shrimp mineral supplement, but there is no specific "add 2 drops/gallon" formula. it's all trial and error with that stuff. mix, test, mix, test, screw up, start over, mix, test....it's a frustrating process....lol
